Homemade Fruit Popsicles
Nothing says summer quite like a refreshing homemade popsicle. Made with real fruit, a little water, and a touch of honey, these colorful treats are naturally sweet, incredibly refreshing, and so easy to make. They’re perfect for hot days, a healthier dessert, or a fun activity to make with kids.

Ingredients
- 2 oranges
- 2 kiwis
- 2–4 tablespoons water
- 2–4 teaspoons honey
Instructions
- Wash, peel, and roughly chop the oranges and kiwis.
- Add the oranges to a blender along with 1–2 tablespoons of water and 1–2 teaspoons of honey. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the orange mixture into popsicle molds.
- Rinse the blender, then add the kiwis along with the remaining water and honey. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the kiwi mixture into the molds, creating separate popsicles or layering the two fruit mixtures if desired.
- Insert the popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4–6 hours, or until completely solid.
- To remove the popsicles easily, briefly run the molds under warm water.
Notes
- Use ripe fruit for the sweetest flavor.
- Adjust the amount of honey depending on the sweetness of your fruit.
- Feel free to experiment with other fruits such as strawberries, mangoes, peaches, or berries.
These homemade fruit popsicles are proof that the simplest ingredients can make the most refreshing summer treats.
It’s summer, and making your own popsicles is easier than you think. The best part? They’re so much healthier than most store-bought ones. All you really need is your favorite fruit—I used oranges and kiwis—a little liquid, like water, and a natural sweetener, such as honey. That’s it! Well… you’ll also need popsicle molds. Pop them in the freezer, wait a few hours, and enjoy. I promise, the kids will absolutely approve!
