Oven baked fresh potatoes
It may look like in Lithuania we love potatoes as most of our traditional dishes consist of them. We have less population than we can accommodate in land we have. It is shocking, when you realize, that in Berlin live more people than in whole Lithuania… And thus, I guess, we have huge plantations of potatoes, which grow pretty good in this country. Moreover, it was cheap yet stodge food during the war and occupation times. We always wait for the time of the year when we can have first fresh potatoes and then we cook them in a million ways… I invite you to try one of them – oven baked fresh potatoes with rosemary, garlic and celery.
