Lazy Pigeons
Meatballs made of minced pork/beef meat, cabbage and rice.
In Lithuania we call them Lazy Pigeons. Basically, it is a simpler version of our traditional cuisine dish – Pigeons (meatballs wrapped in white cabbage leaves).
It is a simple yet delicious dish, that doubles the portion of meat needed – from 500 grams of minced pork/beef meat I made 12 meatballs. In Lithuania most often we use mashed potatoes and pickles as sides, but pasta or buckwheat goes well together too.
