Garlic and Parsley Grilled Pork Belly

INGRIDIENTS

Pork belly slices
1/2 cup of olive oil
4-5 teaspoons of soy sauce
3 cloves of garlic, minced
50 g of chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

1️. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic and chopped parsley to create a flavourful marinade.

2️. Place the pork belly slices in a resealable bag or a shallow dish, ensuring they are in a single layer.

3️. Pour the marinade over the pork belly, making sure each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavours to meld together.

4️. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the pork belly from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.

5️. Grill the pork belly slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they develop a beautiful, caramelized crust and reach an internal temperature of 63°C.

6️. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

7️. Serve up these succulent grilled pork belly slices as a show-stopping main course or as a delicious addition to a rice bowl or salad.
