Steamed Cod with Lemon Zest and Parsley
A light, fragrant dish that celebrates simplicity and healing.
Recently, someone very close to me had surgery — their gall bladder removed. So this is the first recipe in my new special diet food series. It’s for everyone who needs to eat light, but still wants food that feels good — comforting, beautiful, and full of flavor. Starting with this simple steamed cod — pure, fresh, and healing.

Ingredients
- 1 cod
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
- A pinch of salt
Method
Cut the cod into pieces.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt.
Steam for 20 minutes.
Add the steamed cod to a serving plate.
Sprinkle lemon zest and chopped parsley on top.
Gentle, bright, and soothing — just like good food should be.
