Apple Chutney with Onions and Vinegar

Some recipes feel like warmth in a jar — this is one of them.
Sweet apples melt into tangy vinegar, onions soften and caramelize, and just when you think it’s all comfort, a hint of chili sneaks in.
It’s the kind of chutney that turns anything — from cheese to toast to roasted meat — into something special.
A little magic, a little heat, and a lot of cozy flavor.

Ingredients:
2 apples, peeled and diced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of brown sugar (or honey)
1/4 teaspoon of chili flakes
A pinch of cinnamon
A pinch of salt

Method:
Heat olive oil in a small pot.
Add onion and cook on low until soft and translucent.
Add diced apples, vinegar, brown sugar, chili flakes, cinnamon, and salt.
Simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples break down and the mixture thickens into a glossy chutney.
Let it cool before serving.
