Creamy Garlic Mushroom Sauce with Boletus Ravioli
There’s something undeniably comforting about a plate of perfectly cooked ravioli, especially when it’s smothered in a velvety mushroom cream sauce. This recipe brings out the rich, earthy flavours of boletus-filled ravioli and pairs them with a luscious garlic butter sauce, creamy champignons, and a sprinkle of parmesan—making it an ideal dinner for any day that calls for something hearty, simple, and deeply satisfying.
INGREDIENTS
1 portion of ravioli with boletus
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 champignon mushrooms, peeled and sliced
100 ml cream
Grated parmesan cheese (to garnish)
Fresh sprouts (to garnish)
Salt, to taste
METHOD
1. Cook the ravioli
Boil the ravioli according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the sauce
In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
3. Sauté the mushrooms
Add the sliced champignons to the pan. Cook until they soften and begin to brown—this enhances their earthy flavour. Season with a pinch of salt.
4. Make it creamy
Pour in the cream and stir gently, letting the mixture simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Bring it all together
Plate the cooked ravioli, then generously spoon the creamy mushroom sauce over the top.
6. Garnish & serve
Finish with a generous grating of parmesan cheese and a handful of fresh sprouts for a bright, peppery contrast.
This dish is proof that elegance can be easy. Whether you’re cooking for guests or just treating yourself, it’s a warm, flavourful way to showcase your love for all things mushroom. Buon appetito!
