Skryliai

Skryliai was very popular in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth*. And yet it is pretty common and easy made dish in Lithuania nowadays.

This dish is made of flour and can be served with creamy bacon, mushroom sauce, jam of any kind or simply sour cream. I prefer to serve and eat it with creamy mushroom sauce. Great choice when you need comforting food but have little time to make it.

*Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, formally known as the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, was a bi-confederal state, sometimes called a federation, of Poland and Lithuania ruled by a common monarch in real union, who was both King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania. It was one of the largest and most populous countries of 16th to 17th century Europe.
